Jolly Giraffe is a family photography business owned and run by me, Katie!

I'm a photographer, Mum & Step-Mum! 

I've been into photography since I was at college (lots of years ago now!) and have photographed well over 200 weddings and too many families to count! Many of my past wedding couples approached me to photograph their growing families, and out of this has grown a new venture.

I love nothing more than meeting families and capturing lots of lasting memories for them. Whether that be a little trip to the park or beach, a christening or a special birthday.

My style is fun and relaxed and my aim is to capture both your children's personalities, and your interactions together.

I offer the following: Family Photoshoots (Both outdoors and indoor lifestyle shoots) Maternity Photography, Christening/Naming Ceremony Photography, and photography for other family events & celebrations. If you're looking for my wedding work, please visit my other website here. 

As I don't work from a studio, all of my shoots take place on location, often outdoors, and for younger babies within your own home. 

If you're looking for formal, traditional photographs then i'm not the photographer for you. However if you'd like real moments capturing.... such as your toddler jumping in puddles, cuddles with your baby in their favourite blanket, or grown up siblings laughing at each other......then drop me a line as I'd love to meet you!

So why the Jolly Giraffe?

Well, I love all animals... but I've always been drawn to giraffes. I love the symbolism behind them, how they are grounded, down to earth, but also are tall enough to dream big! Also giraffes have tall necks, so they can see things that others can't see... which I feel  is a good quality in a photographer!
